About The Instructor

Oliver started training in mixed martial arts when he was 17 and quickly fell in love with the disciplines of striking and grappling for the variety of workouts, the intense physical exertion, and the mental toughness it builds.
A young and eager athlete, Oliver found himself competing in MMA, boxing and BJJ tournaments, capturing championship belts and medals in a number of competitions. While at Simon Fraser University, Oliver wrestled with the Burnaby Mountain Wrestling Club and the SFU NCAA team.

Oliver has coached kids and youth in kickboxing, jiu-jitsu and MMA, and continues to advance his studies with the latest coaching workshops and certificates allowing him to give students the best training.

“My biggest satisfaction as a coach and instructor is when I see students help each other in class and become leaders. My passion lies in not only developing athletes and martial artists, but creating positive and confident leaders who can be role models for generations to come.”
